When Johnny and I threw out the script for last week's Eleven Dubcast episode to put Ohio State's commencement address on blast, we never could have anticipated so many of our fellow Buckeyes would tune in to rage with us. Sure, some of that audience just wanted to speak out in defense of Bitcoin — but either way, we're grateful for you joining us and excited to get back to discussing OSU sports!

This week, in wake of Ryan Day's comments about TreVeyon Henderson's leadership, Johnny and I ponder the potential success of a running back platoon featuring the Buckeyes' returning lead rusher and new portal addition Quinshon Judkins. This school has not really seen a consistently effective tandem in the backfield since the days of Antonio Pittman and Beanie Wells — recall the failed J.K. Dobbins/Mike Weber Jr. partnership that largely benefitted neither — so how should we temper expectations for the next dynamic duo?

Additionally, the Dubcast discussion also covers:

  • The Buckeyes got another new punter by way of Buffalo! That makes three on the roster at the moment, so how many is enough?
  • The Game will kickoff at noon again this season, as it has every year following 2006's landmark installment. Should we have more late afternoon kickoffs between Ohio State and Michigan, or are the vibes already good enough?
  • Ask Us Anything — writers to dubcast@elevenwarriors.com this week inquired about many topics, such as favorite recess games. Get ready for the incredible story of how yours truly won a playground war by enlisting a platoon of girls to fight the boys!
  • Welcome to the FBS, Missouri State! Can we get a relegation system in college football soon?

And that does it for the Dubcast this week, watch the show now on YouTube above or visit our Transistor page for links to other listening options such as Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and more.
