WBNS is reporting Jack Tatum died from a heart attack earlier today.
This news is, indeed, the Jack Tatum Hit of the Week.
"The Assassin" was a member of the College Football Hall of Fame and a unanimous All-American in '68-'70. Very sad day to be a Buckeye. RIP #32. The university released the following statement on behalf of Jim Tressel:
“We have lost one of our greatest Buckeyes. When you think of Ohio State defense, the first name that comes to mind is Jack Tatum. His loss touches every era of Ohio State players and fans.”You will be missed.
