The players were out in full pads as the ardent sun glared down onto the field. The scene at Ohio Stadium this afternoon, with players fully dressed, coaches in their game-day best and a crowd on hand, stirred up feelings of the season to come.
But this afternoon, the players, unfortunately, weren’t dressed for actually playing football. And the crowd on hand was made up of family members and a select group of invited reporters and camera men. The players and crowd were gathered for Ohio State's 2011 Media Day.
While the team wasn’t practicing and the season opener is still two weeks away, you couldn’t tell by the comments out of players and coaches alike today, as the Buckeyes appear all business and hungry to start the season.
