Goudie was even approached by companies to help endorse products. However, she refused because she would be promoting an image of herself that is untruthful, she said.
“20/20” reported that the University of Iowa made Goudie do three months of treatment after the incident. Now, Goudie does not drink alcohol or use social media, she said.
“I needed a wakeup call,” Goudie said. “And I got one."
All kidding aside, if Vodka Sam has decided to make the change to Sober Sam, then she should be supported 100%. Assuming, however, she sold herself into financial servitude in order to achieve a college education, she may regret standing on her principles and rejecting the endorsement offers.
