The last few days have been a bit unsettling for Ohio State recruiting fans, and maybe even moreso for recruitniks on Eleven Warriors with the rumblings that prodigal son Demetrius Knox, who committed to the Buckeyes in July, was considering taking official visits to Texas (this weekend) and UCLA (next weekend.) Knox was previously committed to Texas but re-opened his recruitment late last spring and when it came time to make his final choice it was a close battle betwen the Buckeyes and the Bruins.
Today, Urban Meyer, Tom Herman and Ed Warinner all made a visit to Fort Worth and spoke to Knox during their in-home visit. Following the visit, Herman took to Twitter to give his appraisal of how things shook out.
It remains to be seen if Knox will make any more visits, but it's difficult to argue that Tom Herman won Twitter today. Ohio State's wide receivers coach Zach Smith obviously agrees.
