Ohio State checks in at No. 2 in the first College Football Playoff rankings of 2024.
It's a special day at Sun Life Stadium - and it's not just because the Hurricanes are hosting Tommy Tuberville's Cincinnati Bearcats: The late Sean Taylor headlines the 2015 Class of the University of Miami's Sports Hall of Fame.
The other inductees, for football, are offensive coordinator/tight ends coach Rob Chudzinski, a star tight end who will be inducted for his coaching prowess; defensive lineman Rusty Medearis; linebacker Winston Moss; defensive end Kevin Patrick; and linebacker Jonathan Vilma.
Former pitcher Alex Fernandez will be inducted for baseball, Kym Hope will be inducted for women’s basketball, and Chris Mantilla will be inducted for diving.
This is how it looked. That moment of silence for Taylor was likely...very quiet.

On a positive note - the sparse attendance allows for football to be played in the stands:
LoadingYou know its a small crowd when a game of catch breaks out ... #TheU #CollegeFootball #BeatCincy
Perhaps Miami should give Dave Brandon a call - the man knows how to get butts in seats at all costs. Literally.
