UPDATE (4:40 p.m.): Florida State did not need video evidence to make the suspension this time.

UPDATE (3:11 p.m.): Mark Schlabach of ESPN is reporting an arrest warrant will be issued:
The state attorney's office in Tallahassee will issue a warrant for the arrest of Florida State running back Dalvin Cook, who is accused of punching a 21-year-old woman in the face several times during an argument outside a bar last month.
State attorney Willie Meggs told ESPN.com on Friday that he met with the woman, who is not an FSU student, and a female witness on Friday. Cook's accuser presented Meggs photos of her injuries.
Meggs said Cook, a 19-year-old sophomore from Miami, will be charged with misdemeanor battery.
A week a video surfaced of star freshman QB De'Andre Johnson punching a woman in a Tallahassee bar (for which Johnson was dismissed), comes this.
From Safid Deen of Tallhassee.com:
Florida State running back Dalvin Cook is under investigation for the battery of a 21-year-old woman outside of a Tallahassee bar on June 23.
State Attorney Willie Meggs said Friday he has not brought any charges against Cook at this time, but the matter is still being reviewed.
In a heavily redacted police report obtained by the Tallahassee Democrat, the victim was listed as intoxicated and suffered minor abrasion/bruises from the incident, which occurred outside of Clyde’s & Costellos on South Adams Street.
Alleged incident involving Cook occurred the night before former #FSU QB De'Andre Johnson punched a different woman in different bar

Despite Karlos Williams hogging all the publicity in the preseason, Cook was far-and-away FSU's best RB during the university's playoff run, as short as it was.
And yes, he's still innocent until proven guilty, but this is NOT A GOOD LOOK for a program who just can't seem to stay out of the news for all the wrong reasons.
FSU has 20 sexual assault accusations over past six years. That is an absolute disgrace.
