Butch Jones' senior class, which started as his first recruiting class in 2013 (the No. 24th overall), puts its 29-20 record on the line Saturday in Nashville against Vanderbilt.
Regardless of the outcome, Tennessee won't play for the SEC championship next week against Alabama (Florida earned that honor last Saturday with a win over LSU). The best they can hope for is a 2017 Outback Bowl invitation.
Though Jones' senior class never won a championship, it can take rest in the knowledge he played a pivotal role in their lives:
