Michigan starting quarterback Wilton Speight broke his collarbone in a loss to Iowa. Multiple outlets confirmed he would miss the regular season.
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh approached the injury with usual bluster, insisting Speight could play the following week against Indiana.
Though Speight warmed up and made some throws, John O'Korn made his first start of the season in a come-from-behind win over the Hoosiers.
Harbaugh said Monday he had no health update on his injured quarterback, though to his eye, which isn't medically trained, Speight is "getting better every day."
Leading Michigan receiver Amara Darboh said Tuesday night that Speight has been practicing.

"Practicing" isn't the same as "throwing," but it jives with a report earlier in the day:

"After medical testing today, definitely expect him to try to go. 70 percent, trending upward"
Ohio State, meanwhile, will prepare for both quarterbacks.
