This is a new one.
The NFL Combine is in full swing this weekend in Indianapolis. Defensive linemen and linebackers are scheduled to work out on Sunday for scouts. But Alabama linebacker Reuben Foster, one of the best defensive players available, won't be there because he got sent home for being unable to wait his turn to get medically tested.
The news was first reported by ESPN's Adam Schefter. Robert Klemko of the MMQB provided more details:
Adding some detail to Reuben Foster incident which led to his dismissal from combine, per source...

Foster grew impatient with long line for exams... pulled the 'do you know who I am?' card.

A male hospital employee, unimpressed, told him he would wait like everyone else.

Foster warned the man that he'd put hands on him, and the employee said, simply, Do it.

That's when the "face to face, heated exchange" happened, as Schefter reported.

So Foster will be watching the Combine at home like the rest of us. Probably a bad move for a projected first round pick.
