Back in January 2014, four-star Ohio State offensive line commit Jamarco Jones took a trip to East Lansing, Michigan amid rumors of an imminent flip to the Michigan State Spartans.
During that time, Urban Meyer leaned on a pillar in Jones' life—his mother, Urica. According to her, the then two-time championship coach called her "at least" 60 times as the recruiting closing bell approached.
Jones signed with Ohio State a month later.
Entering the 2017 season, Jones now stands as the lynchpin of the line at left tackle. A towering man with javelin-like arms, Jones will likely be a first-round pick in next year's draft.
To Urica, however, Jamarco will always be her sweet baby boy, and she has shared some amazing pictures of him as a youth over the years. She did so again Thursday, taking us back to Jamarco's days as a professional ring bearer.

Hard to believe somebody that adorable would grow to terrorize opponents all the way from Chicago youth leagues to the Big Ten.
