Another domino has fallen as the Mid-American Conference is now the first FBS conference to postpone its fall season athletic season due to COVID-19.
The MAC's intends to move all canceled contests and championships and to the spring.
"The Council of Presidents unanimously voted to take this action with the health and safety of its student-athletes, coaches and communities as its top priority," the MAC said in a statement. "It is the intention of the membership to provide competitive opportunities for the student-athletes in these sports during the spring semester of 2021."
The sports moving to spring include football, men's and women's cross country, men's and women's soccer, field hockey and women's volleyball.
