Good stuff from Austin Ward at the bottom of last thread (credit to Keith7456).
A) First and foremost, the allegation that potentially sharing signals of the Wolverines would be a violation of the Big Ten sportsmanship policy is outright false. I know for certain that programs in the Big Ten had compliance look into that accusation, and it is simply not against the rules.
B) So, why was it brought up? This appears quite clearly to be a smokescreen and deflection as part of the last-gasp effort from the Harbaugh family. Sources briefed on this matter know who leaked that information, and while DTE will not be publicly identifying the individual, I would add that it did not feel like a coincidence who this person might have coached with in the past.
C) When it comes to the story itself, Ohio State was asked for comment by outlets in Michigan on Monday. The reporters involved would not share what picture they were seeking a response about with the Buckeyes, so they flatly told them they could not address it without knowing what they were supposed to respond to in the first place. The timing and coordination is suspect to say the least, but even taking the allegation at face value, there is no concern across the league that what is being suggested by Michigan breaks any rule -- which is obviously quite different than the documented case against itself.
Clearly a coordinated smokescreen from TTUN.
