The top-seeded Ohio State women's hoops team will face No. 5 seed Purdue in the Big Ten Tournament semifinal tomorrow at 4 p.m. after the Boilermakers fought back from a 17-point second-half deficit to down No. 4 seed Indiana.
The Buckeyes beat Purdue 61-56 back in January, but it wasn't easy. The Boilermakers have the best defense in the Big Ten and it showed. Purdue held the nation's third-best scoring offense to just six first-quarter points and Kelsey Mitchell struggled to find a rhythm.
A win Saturday will send Ohio State to the Big Ten Tournament Championship Game Sunday night, where they would likely face a rematch with third-ranked Maryland for the tournament title, barring an upset on the other side of the bracket.
