I would not normally come on here to bash a football player or any represents the University, but I've noticed at all of the football games that Braxton dresses up in fancy suits and eats up all kinds of attention from the media on the sidelines.
Now, this never actually bothered me until I graduated yesterday. At graduates had to meet in the Auxiliary Gym and get in their lines before being escorted to the arena. We all figured Braxton would end up walking in last so everyone could see him, which is exactly what he ended up doing. He did not end up getting the applause he probably wanted.
Later during graduation, when we're all inside the arena and President Michael Drake is announcing the special people in attendance, he mentions Braxton Miller. The camera points to Braxton and he's on the main floor with the other graduates, but he's not even wearing his cap (obviously wants to be noticed). It was sad and the President even made a subtle remark as for him to put his cap on when he said "nice haircut, Braxton." He pretty much spends the rest of the time eating up attention from the graduates in attendance.
I also felt it was wrong not to announce the other athletes in attendance, or even mention the name of Kosta Karageorge. Why only Braxton? Anyway, I thought I'd share, but I'm very disappointed in his demeanor.
