Ohio State has dominated That Team on the football field during the past decade. How have the Buckeyes fared against them in recruiting since 2012? Over the next couple of weeks I will compare Ohio State's and That Team's recruiting by position during the Urban Meyer era.
Between 2012 and 2015 Ohio State recruited six defensive tackles and That Team recruited five defensive tackles.
With Billy Price switching to OG, the Buckeyes currently have five recruited players at DT. Of the five, two were in high school during the 2014 season. The need for defensive tackles is real. My money is that Urban Meyer and Larry Johnson Sr. bring in some beasts to fill the need.
