Ohio State has dominated That Team on the football field during the past decade. How have the Buckeyes fared against them in recruiting since 2012? Over the next couple of weeks I will compare Ohio State's and That Team's recruiting by position during the Urban Meyer era.
Ohio State recruited 3 Tight Ends and That Team recruited 6 Tight Ends.
When Urban Meyer was hired by Ohio State I envisioned an offense that would highlight the tight end and use it as a weapon, much like his offenses in Florida. After three seasons I am surprised that the tight end has been underutilized in the passing game.
