In the past few years since Trey Sermon left, Ohio State has been an average rushing team at best, struggling to run the ball when they need to be able to, short yardage and on 1st down. While having talent it seems at the RB position The Bucks just never seem to be able to impose it’s will on high level opposing teams. One head scratcher was vs Michigan last year they took one series and literally smashed Michigan’s stout Run Defense, only to go back to trying to pass it’s way to victory on the next series. So is it Play Calling, Lack of OLine Play. Scheme or something else? The 2024 RB depth at Ohio State has to be the best I have seen since Dobbins/Weber were the tandem. Chip Kelly is also known as a Rushing 1st Offense CoOrdinator. Do we fix the problem and dominate teams in 2024 on the ground?
