Wesson is a 6-foot-7 guard/wing who was a late-rising prospect after a breakout senior season. He's the No. 17 prospect in the state of Ohio, according to 247Sports.
Ohio State currently has one scholarship available with the departure of Austin Grandstaff. Buckeyes coach Thad Matta was asked following his team's 74-66 loss to Florida in the NIT on Sunday if there was a possibility of adding another player in 2016, and Matta said, "Yeah, most definitely."
