It's surprising it took this long, but Alabama offered a scholarship this evening to Ohio State five-star dual-threat quarterback commit Emory Jones.

Jones, who committed to the Buckeyes last July, has shown no signs of wavering in his commitment. Yet schools have continued to recruit him, namely Georgia, whose head coach has gone so far as to say he would change their offense to fit around Jones. 

I'd expect Jones to take official visits despite his commitment this fall, including to Athens and Tuscaloosa. But, much like Shaun Wade last fall, don't see him changing his mind.
