You know the old saying, right? Just when you're getting comfortable singing pop hits in front of a crowd of awed spectators, you get released by the NBA team who made you dress up in a bear outfit and sing Miley Cyrus hits.
Craft impressed the Warriors with his grit and defensive tenacity during the NBA's summer session, but the Warriors let him go late Friday night. One theory as to his release: California already has unstable tectonic plates, and the Bay Area couldn't risk the additional swoon caused by a season-long Craft contract.
Craft was averaging 3 points per contest in four preseason games for the Warriors. He had 10 rebounds, six assists and four steals in 14 minutes per game.
Is Aaron Craft's NBA dream over? It'll be interesting to see if he lands with another NBA squad this season.
