COLUMBUS, OHIO — The Buckeyes are national champions again.
The top-seeded Ohio State men's volleyball team swept No. 3 seed BYU in three sets in Saturday's NCAA Championship match to secure its second-straight NCAA title.
The Buckeyes never dropped a set in the NCAA Tournament, dropping both No. 4 seed Hawai'i and No. 3 seed BYU 3-0 on their home court in historic St. John Arena in front of 8,205 fans.
Ohio State cruised to 25-19 and 25-20 victories in the first two sets before securing the sweep in the third 25-22.
The title is Ohio State's third in program history as the Buckeyes previously won the tournament in 2011 and 2016.
