Prince played for Ohio State from 2013 to 2016, serving as the team's primary striker. She becomes the second Buckeye to earn gold in the Tokyo Olympics after swimmer Hunter Armstrong earned a gold medal for his part in the 4x100 medley team.
The former Buckeye forward started every match throughout Canada's Olympic run, and though she did not score a goal herself, she was the focal point of Canada's offense and played a part in many goals Canada scored throughout the tournament.
This is Prince's second Olympic medal after team Canada won bronze in the Rio Olympics in 2016.
