While visiting Ohio State's campus on Sunday, rising junior Parma Holy Name guard Dwayne Cohill received a scholarship offer from the Buckeyes. Ohio's top guard in the 2018 class, Cohill is a player Ohio State has targeted from day one of his freshman season.

Cohill is coming off a strong sophomore season in which he received special mention All-Ohio honors in Division II. Leading Holy Name to the Division II regional finals as a freshman, Cohill helped elevated a program in desperate need of a star to new heights over the last two years.
An athletic wing guard with great scoring ability and body control, Cohill looks like a natural out on the floor, and will appear to play both guard positions if he does commit to Ohio State. Over the last two years, Cohill and current Ohio State commit Dane Goodwin have gone head-to-head for impressive individual battles, as the two players are in a league of their own among the state's best guards.
"I think he could be a piece [Ohio State] is missing in a scoring point guard," Dan Urban, Cohill's AAU coach with Ohio Basketball Club, told Eleven Warriors. "He's an extension of his coach on the court as well, which OSU always has seemed to have in their point guards."
Cohill checks in as a four-star prospect according to 247Sports, rated as the 20th-best shooting guard in the country, and 81st player overall. At 6-foot-2 and 170 pounds, Cohill is a slashing wing that can get to the basket at will, while also having a strong ability to create and knock down shots.
