Looking for some basketball to watch this weekend? Looking to watch three Ohio State commits? Look no further than the Premier Health Flyin' to the Hoop. Taking place at Trent Arena on the campus of Kettering Fairmont High School in Kettering, Ohio, Flyin' to the Hoop is the top high school basketball event in the state of Ohio and one of the best in the country.
Even better is the fact that three Ohio State commits will be taking part in the event, along with a host of other top prospects including five-star seniors Gary Trent Jr. and Trevon Duval.
Where to watch Future Buckeyes
Upper Arlington's Dane Goodwin will be the first Ohio State commit to take part in the action, as the Golden Bears take on Garfield Heights at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday. Goodwin leads Upper Arlington against a talented Garfield Heights team led by top Ohio Mr. Basketball candidate Marreon Jackson. This matchup will be a huge test for a UA team that suffered its first loss of the season last Saturday vs. Northland.
Versailles' Justin Ahrens will open up Monday's action at 11:30 a.m. against Tri-Village. Ahrens leads a talented Versailles team that is a favorite in Division III in Southwest Ohio. The 6-foot-5 wing has scored at a high level this season and will look to do it once again on the big stage.
Cincinnati Princeton's Darius Bazley will play for the first time this season on Monday at 3 p.m. against Georgia power Wheeler. After sitting out 11 games due to OHSAA transfer rules, Bazley gets a huge test in the form of Wheeler, who features a handful of Division I prospects.
