Ohio State blows out Indiana, 38-15. Now, it's time to do the same to That Team Up North.
The other day, an "NBA personnel guy" said there's a chance D'Angelo Russell — not Duke's Jahlil Okafor or Kentucky's Karl-Anthony Towns — could go No. 1 overall.
This week is the NBA Combine. At this juncture, Russell doesn't have much else to prove to NBA teams. Judging by some of these classic one-liners from his media interview, he knows that:
Granted, every elite player at that level thinks they're the best, but it's the rare one that will come out and say it so bluntly. This is why D'Angelo Russell is almost as fun to cover as he is to watch on the court.
Some critics argue that Russell's "lack of athleticism" will hamper him on the defensive end, but Patient 0 raised a salient point as a counter:
I asked DAngelo Russell about defending the elite guards in the @NBA. He replied, Those guys have to guard me also.

Some lucky NBA team is about to score a good one.
The NBA Draft Lottery is next Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. The Minnesota Timberwolves are the odds-on-favorite to land the No. 1 pick.
