Ohio State officially released its non-conference basketball schedule for the 2015-16 season Wednesday. The Buckeyes will begin the season Nov. 15 with a home game against Mount St. Mary's.
In total, Ohio State will play 10 of its 13 non-conference games at the Schottenstein Center. The Buckeyes will play one true road game before Big Ten play and two games at a neutral site.
The highlights include a Nov. 27 matchup with Memphis in Miami as part of the Basketball Hall of Fame Invitational, a Dec. 1 home game versus Virginia in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, a Dec. 12 road contest at UConn and a Dec. 19 showdown with Kentucky at the Barclays Center as part of the CBS Sports Classic.
The Buckeyes' 18-game Big Ten schedule will be released at a later date.
"As I look at this schedule we will be challenged on the road, at home and on neutral courts," Ohio State head coach Thad Matta said in a press release. "With the youthfulness of this team, I believe it will help us prepare for Big Ten play."
