Ohio State's men's and women's basketball teams held 'Buckeyes on the Blacktop' on Thursday night, an event which featured both teams going through a series of competitions, including a skills contest, 3-point shootout and slam dunk contest.
Dozens of fans crowded around the Lincoln Tower Outdoor Courts on Ohio State's campus to watch the teams put on a show. Freshman guard Austin Grandstaff won the 3-point competition, making 15 3-pointers in the first round then making 13 in the finals to defeat sophomore All-American Kelsey Mitchell.
In the dunk contest, Kam Williams had the best dunk of the night, but missed all of his attempts in the finals on a between-the-legs dunk. Freshman big man Daniel Giddens was declared the winner.
