It was a rough day in College Park for Thad Matta and the Buckeyes as they fell to Maryland by 35 points. The No. 3-ranked Terrapins handed Matta his worst loss since taking over in Columbus, surpassing the 28-point loss at the hands of West Virginia is 2008. The Terps fell to Michigan on Tuesday, but bounced back with their best performance of the season on Saturday.
Ohio State did some soul-searching after the loss, and one Buckeye took to Twitter to issue an apology and assure the fans that a repeat performance won't be happening.
To our whole fanbase I apologize

The freshman tallied two points, one steal, and three boards against the Terps. The 6-foot-10 forward/center is averaging just under four points per game on the season.
The Buckeyes will face another tough road test as they look to bounce back on Thursday against the No. 24-ranked Boilermakers.
