Tuesday was a good night for former Ohio State All-American D'Angelo Russell. The current Los Angeles Lakers rookie helped lift his team to just its 12th win of the season, scoring a career-high 39 points in a 107-101 victory over the Nets.
Russell also had six rebounds and three assists, and scored his 39 points on 14-of-21 shots from the field. He was also 8-for-12 from behind the 3-point line and hit a dagger 3-pointer in the video posted above. After Russell hit the 3, he let the Nets know he had ice in his veins.
Ohio State players past and present were apparently watching, too, as a few of them took to Twitter directly after Russell went off.
