Other teams' fans may be preparing for March Madness trench runs, but Buckeye fans can take solace in Evan Ravenel's social media posts.
According to basketball-asia.net, the former Ohio State forward averages 17 points and 10 rebounds a game for the Ryukyu Golden Kings in Japan's top pro league, bj league.
Based in Okinawa, we've seen Ravenel enjoy yakiniku and debut Evan Ravenel Okinawa Vodka. On Sunday, he headed to the Japanese mainland to the city of Nara and checked out the scenic Nara Park.
While enjoying a walk through the park, he encountered a baby deer which he promptly fed. He also may or may not have adopted it:
Got to explore the city of Nara today and I came across the deer park! I'm thinking about going back and bringing my homie Bambi back home with me. Mom would just love my pet deer!!! [series of crying-laughing emojis]
The Golden Kings are currently 29-10 and sit third place in the Western Conference. They play Bambitious Nara on Sunday. Only one of them will have Evan Ravenel, though.
