Though the calendar isn't quite to October, basketball starts this weekend in Columbus. Ohio State opens practice on Sunday in preparation for their 2016-17 season.
Entering his 12th year as head coach, Thad Matta met with reporters to discuss the upcoming season, the summer and where the program is headed on Thursday.
