Wednesday marks the final day of college basketball's early signing period and Ohio State inked a pair in its 2017 class. The school announced four-star big man Kaleb Wesson and three-star point guard Braxton Beverly are officially part of the program.
Wesson, the nation's No. 78-ranked player and seventh-ranked center, is a 6-foot-9, 280-pound big man from nearby Westerville South High School. He is the younger brother of current Ohio State freshman Andre Wesson.

Kaleb Wesson gives the Buckeyes a true back-to-the-basket post presence who also has the capability of stepping out on the perimeter and knocking down jump shots. He has tremendous hands and is an exceptional passer for his size. Kaleb and Andre Wesson helped guide Westerville South to a state championship last season.
Kaleb Wesson committed to Ohio State on July 3, 2015.
Beverly is a native of Hazard, Kentucky and attends Hargrave Military Academy — the same prep school that current freshman Derek Funderburk attended last season.

Listed at 6-foot and 180 pounds, Beverly gives the Buckeyes a player at a position of need as both JaQuan Lyle and C.J. Jackson will be juniors next season. Beverly is rated by 247Sports’ composite rankings as the No. 316 player in the country and the 64th-ranked point guard.
He committed to Ohio State on Oct. 10 following a weekend visit.
Eleven Warriors will have more on the signings of Wesson and Beverly soon.
