Ohio State redshirt sophomore big man David Bell will transfer from the program, a school spokesman confirmed to Eleven Warriors.
The news of Bell's transfer was first reported by scout.com's Brian Snow, who cited Bell's high school coach, Sonny Johnson, in his report.

Bell, a third-year sophomore this past season who played in 15 games, averaged 1.3 points and 1.9 rebounds per game. Bell, a Cleveland native, has two years of eligibility remaining.
Bell becomes the second Ohio State big man to leave the program this offseason as redshirt junior center Trevor Thompson will reportedly pursue professional options although it remains unclear at this point if he will hire an agent. If he doesn't, Thompson has the option to return to school.
Will Bell's departure and Thompson's reported early exit, sophomore-to-be Micah Potter and incoming freshman Kaleb Wesson are the only two big men on the Buckeyes' roster.
