Scotty Middleton has settled on a new collegiate home for 2024-25.

The former Ohio State wing committed to Seton Hall out of the transfer portal on Wednesday, heading to South Orange, N.J. after one year in a Buckeye uniform.

Middleton served as Ohio State's top wing option off the bench in 2023-24, playing the most minutes of any freshman with 15.3 minutes per game. He picked up 4.4 points, 1.4 rebounds and 0.7 assists per contest.

Where the Buckeyes might feel Middleton's absence most next season is as a 3-point shooter, as he hit on 45.2% of his 62 looks from outside in his first collegiate campaign.

Entering Ohio State as a four-star prospect out of Sunrise Christian High School in Wichita, Kansas, Middleton was the No. 10 small forward in the 247Sports composite rankings and the No. 50 player overall. He was the second-higest ranked prospect in the Buckeyes' recruiting class of 2023, which ranked No. 8 nationally.

Middleton will have three years of eligibility left with the Pirates.
