The Buckeyes are searching far and wide for talent and today offered 2015 offensive lineman Andre James from Herriman (Utah.)
A 6-foot-5, 275 pound lineman, James has offers from Washington, Oregon, Wisconsin, Oklahoma, UCLA and others. With the Buckeyes throwing their name into the proverbial hat, James said he's excited to learn more about the Buckeyes.
"I don't know a whole lot about them," James said of the Buckeyes. "It was actually my first time talking to Coach Warinner, but when I got in contact with them I got really pumped up. He said they like my build and the way I get off the ball."
Despite being unfamiliar with the Buckeyes, James actually has some family in Ohio. He thinks that will help him get to "The Heart of It All" a bit easier this summer.
"Most of my family is actually from Painesville," he said. "So I'd really like to get out there to check out the school. I love Urban Meyer, he's a great coach and he wins games. That's what gets me pumped about them, because I want to go to a winning program."
