In the constantly changing world of college football recruiting, it's wise to not count a visit as "official" until a prospect is on campus.
Torrance Gibson, who had scheduled his official visit to Ohio State over a month ago, will not be at the Buckeyes' home slate against Virginia Tech this weekend because of a scheduling conflict: he's got a high school game that night.
Gibson's plans have not changed otherwise, he plans to make a commitment on October 20th, but his visit to Ohio State is now not likely to happen before that date. Expect the late November showdown against Michigan to be the next time Gibson is at Ohio State, according to the 6-foot-4, 200 pound quarterback.
