Welcome to The Hurry-Up, which runs Sunday through Thursday, serving as your last stop for recruiting news and notes nightly. We'll recap the day as it happened and preview the days ahead while keeping our ear to the ground on the Ohio State recruiting scene.

ROUNDTREE OUT - WHO IS IN?

In case you missed it on Friday, Georgia defensive back Rashad Roundtree decided to stay home and committed to the Bulldogs over the Buckeyes. Roundtree, the country's 6th-ranked safety, was pegged as a player Ohio State would "take no matter what." Unfortunately for them, Roundtree's mind was made up and a late official visit to Columbus couldn't change it.

The question naturally becomes who, if anyone, is next at safety? It's clear the Buckeyes are interested in adding another to their recruiting class, and not just because the Carlton Davis situation is unclear. Even if Davis (who dropped a new highlight tape tonight) were to stick with the "Elite '15," another safety being added is ideal.

"There's a couple guys on the board," one source said. "I think one more defensive back is in the plans, since we added Norwood last week. The one guy to watch is Juwuan Briscoe. He's excellent. I think they want to wait until he decides before evaluating all the other options."

Who are the other options? Virginia's Garrett Taylor and Indianapolis-native Mykelti Williams appear to be at the top of the list. Taylor is scheduled to visit the Buckeyes on November 22nd, so it'll be interesting to see where things stand up to that point.

GALLIMORE SETS OFFICIAL VISIT

On Saturday, 2015 Canada Prep defensive tackle Neville Gallimore visited Michigan State and watched the Buckeyes and Spartans tussle in the Big Ten's B1G game of the year. On Sunday, he determined officially that he'd visit the Buckeyes again, as expected, for The Game

Ohio State's need at defensive tackle in 2015 is well-chronicled. Gallimore, who participated at Nike's The Opening in July could be their last best shot at securing one, depending on what happens with Connecticut's Christian Wilkins, who the Buckeyes are expecting a December official visit from.

The Buckeyes, along with Oklahoma and Florida State (where Gallimore has already visited officially) are all in great shape to land the big Canadian. Without any natural connections or pipelines established elsewhere, there's a reason to be cautiously optimistic as far as Ohio State's chances go. Columbus is reasonably close to his hometown, the Buckeyes have a serious need at defensive tackle and Gallimore has previous relationships with Ohio State commitments  Justin Hilliard and Jashon Cornell, who befriended him in Oregon.

Gallimore will make a return trip to Oregon the weekend of November 22nd. It's likely his trip to Columbus will be his final official visit.

MACK, ROBERTSON LIKE WHAT THEY SEE IN EAST LANSING

The Fort Wayne, Indiana duo of wide receiver Austin Mack and defensive end Auston Robertson have seen a lot of Ohio State this fall. The pair, best friends who play at rival high schools, have traveled around the region together this fall, including multiple trips to Columbus. This weekend, they made the trip to Spartanville and each player was impressed, not just by the Spartans, but by the resolve of the Buckeyes.

"Michigan State was super fun," Mack, the 2016 wideout shared. "The game was the best. Just the atmosphere of the rivalry, and it was an actual game, not a blowout."

For the 6-foot-2, 205 pound Mack, it was a chance to see two schools that are recruiting him open up their offenses.

"It was awesome," Mack added. "Both offenses looked great."

Robertson, from Wayne High School by way of Lima, Ohio, agreed. He expounded a bit more about his visit.

"The game was great," Robertson said. "I loved seeing two of my top five schools going head-to-head. Michigan State has a great coaching staff and I feel like they could help me a lot on the field and they really focus on academics."

As a native Ohioan, now living in Fighting Irish territory and possessing offers from a gaggle of rivals, Robertson said he's in an interesting position on this type of visit.

"I honestly don't root for anyone anymore," Robertson added. "I take my trips to these games and I have to examine the schools, the coaching staffs, and the benefits of each school. It's about my future, not the past."

THE NOT-SO-LITTLE THINGS

The Buckeyes' players, coaches, fans, etc. were all impressive on Saturday night. The offense clicked at a level not often seen around Ohio (especially in the Andy Dalton era we're now living in) but there was one scene that stood out to one of the state's top prospects, a standout in the the 2016 recruiting class.

"There was a part of the game where Zach (Smith) went up to his guy after a touchdown," the 2016 star said. "You could really see how much it mattered to each of them. There's a lot of times when people talk about 'family this' and 'family that', but it was genuine happiness, you could tell. That dude had a really tough game and his coaches never stopped believing in him. That's huge."

Zach Smith hugs Dontre Wilson after a 4th quarter score.
This moment captured the attention of a highly-ranked Ohio prospect.
