Today in Columbus, hundreds of the country's best players attempted to earn an invite to Nike's The Opening and ten did just that; including at least three future Buckeyes.
Ohio State commitment Demario McCall, from North Ridgeville, Cincinnati Moeller's Jake Hausmann and Gahanna Lincoln's Jonathan Cooper were among the ten selected, but there are a number of others from today's list that have been, and remain, on the list of big-time targets for the Buckeyes.

Feaster, a five-star running back committed to Clemson, was a late-registrant for the event and opened eyes with a blistering 4.34 electronically timed 40-yard-dash.
Ohio State hopes to add to their list soon: Fort Wayne's Austin Mack will commit to his school of choice next Sunday, and the Buckeyes are the front-runners. They're also very close to the top of list for Pittsburgh's Damar Hamlin, who visited Ohio State on Saturday and remain squarely in the mix for Detroit Cass Tech two-way lineman Michael Onwenu.
In all, nine different Ohio State commits competed today and a handful of other Buckeye targets were in attendance. We'll have more from The Opening in tonight's Hurry Up and through the next few days.
