The Hurry Up is your nightcap of Ohio State recruiting news, catching you up on the day’s events with an ear on the ground for what’s next.
BARROW OUT FOR THE YEAR
After two big weeks and a boost in the national rankings, Ohio State 2016 defensive tackle commitment Malik Barrow got some bad news late last week: he's suffered a leg injury during IMG's big win at DeSoto (Texas) and will miss the remainder of his senior season.
The 6-foot-3, 270-pound Barrow, who announced early last week he'd be enrolling early at Ohio State, is doing well according to his father, Malcolm, and is trying to keep focused on the positives.
"He is doing relatively well," Malcolm Barrow told 11W. "He just wants to heal up and get his grades right so he can graduate in December as planned."
Barrow himself isn't letting the bad news affect him at this point.
"I'm doing fine," the country's 296th-ranked player said. "It's all good."
JACKSON VISIT GOES WELL
The big visitor in Columbus this weekend was Ellenwood, Georgia defensive tackle Antwuan Jackson, Ohio State's top target at defensive tackle. Jackson made the drive to Ohio with his father and according to a few different sources, the visit went very well and the Buckeyes continue to stay exceedingly positive about their chances with the country's eighth-ranked tackle.

Jackson was watching from Ohio State's recruiting room as Auburn, his co-leader, struggled with Jacksonville State on Saturday and although the Tigers pulled it off, the dominating effort by the Buckeye defense had to make an impact.
"It's hard to say exactly where he's at but it's obvious they really like it here," one Buckeye commit shared. "I think we'll get him."
SLADE GOES OFF FOR CD HYLTON
After visiting Virginia Tech this past Monday night, 2018 running back Ricky Slade, Jr. took the weekend off and stayed home with his family rather than visiting any schools. Of course, just because he didn't travel anywhere doesn't mean he didn't take anyone else to school.
On Friday night the 5-foot-9, 175-pounder, who has a Buckeye offer, lit up Nokesville (Virginia) Patriot High School to the tune of four touchdowns and 214 yards – on only 11 carries.
That's a pretty good night, no? Slade will be at Ohio State on October 17th when the Buckeyes take on Penn State.
WHAT'S IN A NAME? A LOT WHEN THE NAME IS BOSA
Yesterday afternoon, Joey Bosa returned to action for Ohio State and he was his normal dominant, physically assertive, self. Bosa's frame (6-foot-6 and 280-pounds) and speed make him the top prospect in the upcoming NFL draft and as you already know, he's got a younger brother who's pretty good in his own right.
ESPN.com tried to break down the differences – and the similarities – between Nick Bosa and his All-American older brother.
Although the two are almost certainly not going to play together at Ohio State, it's fun to imagine having Bookend Bosas, isn't it?
VICTOR GOES FOR BIG NUMBERS
Ohio State has one true wide receiver committed in the 2016 class and they're very high on a few others, perhaps none as high as Coconut Creek's Binjimen Victor. This past Friday night, Victor gave a little taste as to why.
#CoconutCreek HS (FL) 2016 WR @BinjimenVictor had 4 catches for 173 yards & 3 TD's vs #BoydAnderson HS (FL)

Victor, 6-foot-4 and 175-pounds, is a game-changing deep threat option and as he gets physically stronger is going to be a very difficult matchup for any cornerback, anywhere.
