Brooklyn's Erasmus Hall High School has been kind to the Buckeyes lately. Ohio State signed Curtis Samuel in 2014, and Saturday it added another talented athlete to the 2016 class as Jahsen Wint, a former Temple commit, pledged to the Buckeyes.

The commitment was first reported by 247Sports.com.
A weekend mid-December official visit to Columbus and subsequent offer was enough to swing things in the Buckeyes' favor just weeks after Ohio State made their initial interest known in the dynamic playmaker.

A three-star prospect, Wint committed to the Temple Owls in August and his recruitment has been picking up steam ever since, as he garnered interest from Pittsburgh and picked up offers from Penn State and Rutgers.
Wint, a First Team All-State selection in New York, will likely get his first chance at playing time in Columbus as a safety, is a versatile athlete who plays linebacker for the Dutchmen.
Ohio State's 18th commitment in their top-ranked class of 2016, Wint is the third defensive back, joining cornerbacks Kareem Felder and Wayne Davis.
Eleven Warriors will have more on Jahsen Wint's commitment soon.
