Regional combines are underway for Nike's 2016 Opening, the penultimate recruiting combine for many of the nation's top prep prospects. A handful of Buckeyes have already earned a prestigious invite.
One of those regionals is ongoing in Dallas on Sunday. Five-star 2017 DB Jeffrey Okudah, out of South Grand Prairie High School in Grand Prairie, Texas, showed up to the event wearing Ohio State gear.

Ohio State leads Okudah's crystal ball forecast with 40% of votes. Baylor is No. 2 with 30%, with Stanford (20%) and Texas (10%) trailing. Expect more votes for the Buckeyes to trickle Ohio State's way:

Long way between March 2016 and February 2017—Urban Meyer would undoubtedly compare getting a gem like this out of Texas akin to a "street fight"—but things are undoubtedly trending Ohio State's way with one of the nation's best athletes... which is never a bad thing.
