It was somewhat surprising when Jake Moretti did not receive an invitation to The Opening following a dominating performance two weeks ago at the regional camp in Columbus. Moretti, a four-star prospect and the nation's No. 61 overall player, won nearly every single one of his reps.
On Monday, however, Morretti — a 2017 Ohio State commit — earned an "at large" bid from the top recruiting camp in the country.

Moretti, a native of Arvada, Colorado, is the sixth member of Ohio State's 2017 class to get invited to The Opening. Moretti joins linebacker Antjuan Simmons, running back JK Dobbins, defensive tackle Haskell Garrett, and defensive backs Isaiah Pryor and Marcus Williamson.
The Opening is scheduled for July 5-10 at the Nike world headquarters in Beaverton, Oregon.
