Ohio State's wide receiver haul in the 2017 recruiting class has a chance to be one for the books. On Monday, it took another small step forward toward making that a reality.
Trevon Grimes — a five-star wide receiver out of St. Thomas Aquinas in Fort Lauderdale, Florida — included the Buckeyes in his top-six schools. Ohio State was joined by Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia and Miami.

Of course, Ohio State being on this list is hardly surprising as Grimes has stated multiple times throughout the recruiting process the Buckeyes are the team to beat in his recruitment.
But despite constant contact with the Ohio State coaching staff, Grimes still has not visited since the summer prior to his sophomore season. The Buckeyes are expected to see him next week, however, when they host a satellite camp at St. Thomas Aquinas and Eleven Warriors has also learned Grimes is expected to visit Columbus later this month.
Listed at 6-foot-3 and 202 pounds, Grimes is the No. 24 overall player in the 2017 class, according to 247Sports' composite ratings and the nation's fourth-ranked wide receiver.
