Needless to say, the NCAA is behind the times as Urban Meyer and company have labored away on the current consensus No. 1 class since December 2013, when it accepted the verbal commitment of (then) Massillon Washington freshman QB Danny Clark.
Regardless, rules are rules.
Ohio State sent out its official offer letter to 2017 commits Monday. Four-star LB Antjuan Simmons — a talent whom the Buckeyes poached from Michigan's backyard in March — received one such letter.
Looks like that "Developed Here" logo, which is sharp, is here to stay.
