Back in March, Ohio State was able to pluck then three-star linebacker Antjuan Simmons from the Wolverines' backyard. The Ann Arbor (Pioneer) linebacker plays his high school football within a stone's throw of Michigan Stadium and the 6-foot-1, 215-pounder holds offers from all the Midwest powers plus schools like Georgia, LSU, and Texas A&M.
This morning, reports began to surface from that the now four-star was making a surprise official visit to Michigan State for their matchup with the Scarlet Knights. The news was first reported by Scout.com's Bill Greene.

Simmons became the No. 12 commitment for Ohio State's 2017 class after Kerry Coombs yet again used his wizardry in the state of Michigan.
“I talk to the Ohio State coaches all the time and whenever it's a recruiting period they make it a priority to come in and see me,” Simmons told Eleven Warriors. “No matter what. They've always been straight up with me from the start, you know? It was ‘Okay, we know who you are – come down for camp.’ I did good at their camp and it's just been a growing relationship since then, you know? I have great relationships with all the coaches and I felt very comfortable there when I visited a few times in the fall.”
The Pioneer High School star currently checks in as the No. 298 player in the country according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings and is the lone true linebacker commitment in Ohio State's class. The Buckeyes have been focusing on a pair of Texas stars – Kennedale's Baron Browning and Plano's Anthony Hines – as they look to add to the position group.
Eleven Warriors will have more information on Antjuan Simmons' Michigan State visit as it becomes available.
