Buffalo, New York, Canisius placekicker Blake Haubeil participated in the Blue-Grey All-American Bowl at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Thursday.

"It was a ton of fun," Haubeil told Eleven Warriors. "I met a lot of great guys and AT&T Stadium is so neat."

The Ohio State commit was was 1-for-2 on the afternoon.

"First one, I rung it off the left upright a little over halfway up from 49 yards out. Second one was perfect from 35 to tie it at 24 with about 4 minutes to go," Haubeil said. "[I was] 3-for-3 on extra points and had four kickoffs with above 4.0 [second] hang. So very happy with how specials performed."

The 6-foot-3, 200-pounder was recently named to USA TODAY's all-USA first-team offense. He will enroll at Ohio State and pay his own way through fall semester before going on scholarship in January.

GIFT WRAPPED

Yoakum, Texas, four-star safety Jordan Moore will announce his college decision on Christmas Eve at 6 pm ET. He'll choose between Florida State, Houston, Louisville, LSU, Michigan, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas and Texas A&M.

"I'm just announcing it. No party or anything," Moore told Eleven Warriors. "Me and my parents decided [where I'm going] last night."

Ohio State offered both Moore and his fraternal twin, Joshua, in September, adding to their already impressive list of more than 30 offers apiece. Joshua has no plans to make a decision on his future anytime soon, but it should be noted the pair would like to play together in college.

TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES IN RECRUITING

Saint Simons Island, Georgia, Frederica Academy wide receiver Ja'Shawn Sheffield spent the first day of his winter break talking with Ohio State wide receivers Zach Smith and various assistants.

"It went well. Had a chance to FaceTime with all three coaches," Sheffield told Eleven Warriors. "It was cool. Coach [Corey] Dennis let me see his new baby. Coach Smith was out eating with his kids. I got to meet them. Coach [Eron] Hodges was on vacation in Chicago. He was showing me his view. It's pretty cool talking with them."
