Bellaire, Texas, Episcopal five-star defensive tackle Marvin Wilson included Ohio State in his Top 5 this evening alongside Florida State, LSU, Oklahoma and South Florida.
The 6-foot-4, 329-pounder is considered the top-rated defensive tackle and the No. 3 prospect overall in the Class of 2017.
Wilson reportedly had a great time during his official visit to Columbus for the 30-27 double-overtime win over Michigan. He also traveled to Florida State, LSU and Oklahoma this season, and his relationship with former Texas head coach Charlie Strong is the reason South Florida made the cut despite not being listed in his Top 10 over the summer.
Ohio State also made the Top 5 for defensive tackle Jay Tufele of South Jordan, Utah, Bingham, and the Buckeyes could conceivably take both in this class despite the limited scholarships available.
Both prospects will make their decisions known on National Signing Day.
