When three-star defensive end Darius Slade signed a National Letter of Intent with Ohio State on signing day, it caught many by surprise. Slade was committed to Michigan State, after all, and he hadn't even visited Ohio State's campus.
Slade acknowledged as much, admitting it was "weird" but said he always wanted to play for Larry Johnson, who accepted a position on Ohio State's defensive staff just a week before signing day.
Today, Slade is finally on campus and based on his tweets, he's going to enjoy his new home.
