Unlike Ohio State's playoff chances, perhaps your cellphone battery won't be so quick to die next time you step foot into Ohio Stadium.
The university announced today that four "mobile phone charging stations" will be available in Ohio Stadium starting this week against Kent State. The stations will be located at gates of 15A/16A, in South Stands, and in the Huntington Club.
There will also be mobile chargers available for rent or purchase. Although, credit/debit cards are only acceptable form of payment for the handheld chargers.
On top of that, Ohio State is offering a "valet" service featuring a "cabinet" where fans "drop off their phones with professional staff and pick them up when ready." Cash and credit cards are accepted with this service.
